In the Light variant, we replaced the warm wool lining with a felt layer that is incredibly soft to the touch, protects against cooler temperatures, but also prevents overheating during warmer spring and autumn days. The upper, made of full-grain leather combined with premium suede, creates an elegant-sporty option for those seeking high and comfortable footwear. Packed with all the essential features of healthy barefoot shoes, it's been our bestseller for many years.

The Alaskan shoes have a hydrophobic membrane that protects your feet from moisture, but due to the use of natural materials, we recommend additional waterproofing before intense water exposure to ensure proper protection in winter weather conditions. The Alaskan shoes are not waterproof.
The Alaskan model cannot be machine washed! Start cleaning by using a brush to remove mud from the shoes. Then, clean the shoes thoroughly with a damp cloth. After cleaning, the shoes should be air-dried at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

Yes, the sole of the Alaskan model is designed for winter conditions and provides good traction on slippery surfaces like snow or ice. However, caution is advised in very challenging conditions like ice, where any footwear might face difficulty.
