When designing barefoot sandals, our priority was to combine feminine style/design with functionality. This can't be done without using the right materials. Strong yet gentle elastic laces will ensure the sandals stay on your feet while also adorning your ankles. The insole is made from vegetable-tanned leather, produced with minimal environmental impact. The minimalist Moana sandals are trimmed with an elegant edge, giving them a refined character. The final element is our completely flat and incredibly flexible sole, which protects you from cuts while maintaining the barefoot feel.

The reason is simple and based on our anatomy. The foot has an incredibly complex structure, consisting of 26 bones, 21 muscles, 33 joints, and over 8,000 nerve endings. It is a part of the limb that is made for movement. Therefore, it is easy to imagine that it will feel and behave most naturally when we walk barefoot. However, that’s not always possible.
