Before first wear: apply protector.
Suede/mix: use a nubuck & suede spray.
Smooth leather / leather+textile: use a universal protector + technical fabric spray on textile panels.
After each day: brush off dust (suede — nubuck brush; smooth leather — soft cloth). Air-dry at room temperature, away from radiators/sun.
Quick clean: lukewarm water + mild soap. Clean suede with nubuck/suede cleaners (no creams). Smooth leather: damp cloth. Textile: gentle fabric cleaner.
Conditioning (smooth leather only): thin layer of leather balm, then water-repellent spray.
Routine proofing: every 2 weeks; in wet/winter conditions weekly or after contact with salt/mud.
Drying: stuff with paper; no radiator, no direct sun.
Avoid: washing machine, prolonged soaking, solvents/bleach, greasy polishes on suede/textiles.
Insoles: if removable, take out and air separately; if non-removable, loosen laces and ventilate the interior well.
